Outkast's Andre 3000 Gets Down With Norah Jones, Big Boi Takes Us To 'Church'

If you're one of those Outkast fans who've been scratching their heads, questioning why you haven't seen Dre at most of the group's public appearances of late, it's because he's been in the studio trying to uphold his side of the bargain.

Andre 3000 is only about 80 percent done with his solo album, which is going to be included in the ATL's duo's double LP, Outkast Present … Big Boi and Dre. Now being scheduled for release around Memorial Day, the other half of the album is, of course, Big Boi's solo opus. Of what he has finished, Dre has politicked collaborations from this year's Grammy golden girl Norah Jones and fellow newcomer Vivian Green. Meanwhile, Big Boi, who has been done with his record for weeks, has guest appearances from Jay-Z, the Dungeon Family, Twista and Killer Mike. Both Outkast partners will also have a couple of cameo spots on each other's albums. The group handled much of the production itself...

Southernplayalisticadillacmusik! ATLiens! Aquemini! Andre'and Big Boi Presents...! And last but not least, Stankonia! Everyone who has heard these albums will agree when I say that you men have set a standard for all those who hope to achieve success while accepting no less. My approach towards music has not been the same since I first heard "Millenium". Your song entitled "Liberation" envigorated the fire that burns within this poor soul. Thanks for all you've done that you're not fully aware of and for all that you've set out to do and have accomplished.

Finally I get the chance to holla at one of the most influential souls the industry have ever seen. Your music and your sound has changed the entire meaning of being versatile? You've created hope for Musicians such as myself to understand that creativity has no limits or boundrys. I had the Chance to meet almost the entire Dungeon Family and I can truly say you are one of the most educated and respected familys there is. I 've been a D.F soulja for eva, all i know is D.F. I would love the oppurtunity to one day work with the Almighty D.f. I am a Musical Genius, I create sounds thats unheard of and my lyrics are stronger than ten bulls! I want to produce a track on any D.f family member album and the track is fa sho free! I just love the sound that Outkast has brought to the table. You've brought light in the eyes of youre fans, truly believe that. Much love & respect, keep making good music.

WZUP GOODIE MOB!

Just wanna thank OutKast for all their work again. Your sound, if possible, is a picture of the outlook I have on life. It's deeply moving, especially, and I know it seems strange, the song 'Slump' and the lifting nature of 'Chonkyfire'. Your contrasting styles on 'Gangsta Shit' to the music on 'Babylon'. It's all very, very good. Love it and live it a lot, and I live at the beach in Australia on the other side of the world. If you get into Michael Franti & Spearhead at all, heed their words and keep letting your 'souls shine' through that laid back and cool nature you fellas exude.

Outkast-i want you guys to know Albuquerque, NM has got a lot of respect for you and that's why you need to come back soon. I also wanted to say how pure fucking genius all of your albums are (especially stankonia). You guys are incredible and your lyrics are so intensely genuine. Keep doing what you guys are doing, because it's the only shit that keeps me grounded. Thank you for pioneering the music of the mind. Peace.
